CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a 15-year-old boy was arrested for sexually assaulting another teen at Olympic High School. Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department say on September 14th, a 16-year-old girl reported that she was sexually assaulted by the suspect during the afternoon hours on September 13th at the school on Sandy Porter Road.
The 15-year-old suspect, who police say is known to the victim, was located and interviewed by detectives in CMPD’s Sexual Assault Unit. At the conclusion of the interview, police say they arrested and charged the suspect with attempted second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, and sexual battery.
