CPI Security’s Annual ‘Wrap-Up’ Party

CPI Security partners with CMPD for Police Explorers Christmas Project

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) — CPI Security is once again partnering with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department’s Police Explorers for their annual Christmas Project!

The Christmas Project provides hundreds of children in Charlotte with a Christmas they may not have received otherwise. CPI Security has been a longstanding sponsor and supporter of the Christmas Project and is thrilled to help CMPD provide presents to children in need for another year.

In November, police officers identified families who could benefit from the project this holiday season. This year, the CMPD is prioritizing families who have been affected by crises like homicides and fire, as well as children involved in the Police Activities League and REACH Academy.

CPI Security ‘adopts’ at least 50 children off the CMPD’s list. During the month of November, CPI employees raised money and personally shopped for presents on each child’s wish list. The goal is to provide each child with a new outfit, a pair of shoes, a winter coat, and three toys. The project also provides a food box or grocery store gift card to each family.

On December 10, CPI Security employees will wrap hundreds of presents purchased from the wish lists, then hand them off to police officers for delivery.
