We’ve made it to the Thanksgiving leftover weekend! Unfortunately, conditions look drier than your Aunt Barb’s green bean casserole. Moderate drought continues to spread around the WCCB Charlotte viewing area, and there isn’t any relief in sight. A cold front should sweep in from the northwest by Sunday evening, but rain chances won’t budge from the slim-to-none range. Expect nothing but sunshine heading into the first few days of December.
While rain chances won’t move much, temperatures will. Highs should top out slightly above average for our Sunday in the 50s and 60s before the cold front arrives. On the backside of the system comes another frigid start to the workweek, with lows in the 20s and 30s Monday morning. After below-average temperatures kick off the transitionary week from November into December, expect a steady warm-up to take the reigns. Highs in the Metro could be in the 70s by the end of next week.
