Early Morning Rain With Afternoon Clearing

Not drought busting, but early morning showers will be numerous

– Statewide burn ban continues.

An area of low pressure riding along a frontal boundary will cross to our south tonight into Wednesday AM. This will increase cloud cover through the remainder of our Tuesday and increase rain coverage through Wednesday morning. Those closer to the system, south and east of Charlotte, will have the best chance to see rain. Neighborhoods north and northwest of Charlotte will not see much. Clouds clear Wednesday afternoon with mostly sunny skies continuing Thursday. More opportunity for measurable rainfall will come Friday and through the weekend.

Tonight: Increasing clouds. Few late showers. Low: 40.Wind: Light E.

Wednesday: Patchy AM fog. Mostly cloudy. Scattered AM showers. PM Clearing. High: 54.

Wednesday PM: Mostly clear. Low: 32. Wind: Light.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High: 55. Wind: E 5.

Have a great week!
