Re-Imagine Charlotte Gala Celebrates Life Saving Work Of American Cancer Society, While Raising Funds For A Cure

CHARLOTTE — Re-Imagining a world without cancer.  The Charlotte community turned out to celebrate the lifesaving work of the American Cancer Society, and to raise funds for the critical work in cancer research.

Re-Imagine Charlotte, a benefit gala supporting the American Cancer Society, was held Saturday evening at Le Meridien Charlotte in Uptown.


Everyone enjoyed dinner presented by renowned Chefs David Burke and Jeffrey Russell with Red Salt by David Burke, a silent and live auction, and entertainment by Nashville singer/songwriter, Sydney Lett.

The mission of the American Cancer Society is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

WCCB is a media partner for Re-Imagine Charlotte.  The event was live-streamed for people all over the country.

Doug Rice, President and lead announcer for the Performance Racing Network, and WCCB Charlotte anchor/reporter Trish Williford served as emcees for the event.
