CHARLOTTE, N.C. – At approximately 2:15 PM Monday, officers responded to shots fired at West Charlotte High School. CMPD say shots were fired on the property but not actually in a school building, and they don’t believe any one was hit by gunfire.
CMPD held a news conference responding to the incident with CMS Superintendent Earnest Winston and CMPD Chief Johnny Jennings both providing statements.
